It’s for real.
We just heard that Steve English of Salisbury Henderson yesterday valued a house in Stowford at £225,000 that was valued just two months ago at £300,000.
What will the affect on your home be? Can we afford this? Seems like the amount of profit the turbine builders will make will be about the same as the loss in personal savings in the area. The twist is you get to pay twice through elevated electricity bills. Many people rely on their home to fund their retirement. How will they cope? Will they be forced into poverty? Now what if you have a mortgage? You may well now owe the lender more than you home is worth.
Were we hoodwinked into this mess? Certainly our elected leaders don’t seem to have acted in our best interest.
