Gone With the Wind

If you research the effect of wind turbines on house prices you will soon come across the industry body RegenUK’s report that claims they make no difference.   If you dig beneath the veneer of sample size , methodology and much acclaimed peer reviews,  you’ll find that at least some of the sites chosen were undesirable and not at all typical of a rural community like ours.   For example, one was next to Dungeness Nuclear Power Station and it would have had a low valuation to start with. Bad data leads to bad results. Also, they looked at prices over the lifetime over the project.

Now the London School of Economics have responded with a  report that confirms what we already suspected and hear from local estate agents.
