TO EVERYBODY WHO SENT IN THEIR OBJECTIONS TO WEST DEVON BOROUGH COUNCIL ABOUT THE PROPOSED WIND TURBINE AT WREYS BARTON
We at SALT Action Group wish to give you our profound thanks. well done!
Over 100 individuals wrote to West Devon Borough Council about the Wreys Barton turbine, which helped in succeeding in our initial task of getting Murex Energy to be required to undertake a full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). This is good news as it should delay Murex a while whilst they prepare the EIA.
However we can’t sit back, because this was just a warm up for the next round, which will be a Full Planning Application. We will all need to submit our objections again when this is submitted!
Everybody can help with this because numbers really do matter. So when the time comes be sure every individual in your household registers their objections in the allotted 21 days period allowed from when the full planning application is received by WDBC. We will of course keep you up to date on the planning timetable and send out reminders accordingly.
In the meantime, SALT Action Group will be working hard on constructing a solid objection based on planning law and guidance, which we trust will result in this proposed wind turbine being refused planning permission.
