It turns out that wind and solar are by far the most expensive sources of electricity.
In May 2014 Charles Frank Jr. of the think tank the Brookings Institute did a detailed cost benefit analysis of the various means of producing electricity. He did the comparison by considering the economic benefit of displacing one current power station technology with another.
The results indicate that our government has chosen the wrong path that will lead to massively higher fuel costs. This may well cause an exodus of manufacturers to countries with lower fuel costs, notably the US. We likely will lose jobs, have higher fuel costs and our countryside will be wrecked.
